MINI QUILT
MY FIRST TIME WITH DIAGONAL SHAPES

The pattern derived from a portion of the magazine article of Ocean Shimmer back in October 2007 by McCall's Quilting "Beautiful Patterns For Your Home". Copy seen here above from magazine.

Cut 1 piece of fabric of 2 x 2 square
Cut 4 pieces of fabric 1 inch triangles
Cut 4 pieces of fabric 1 1/2 inch triangles
Cut 4 pieces of fabric 2 inches triangles

Follow pattern and match.  Stitch accordingly at 1/4 inch seams.

Cut 1 piece of backing fabric of 6 x 6 square, along with interfacing.  Iron together.

Place backing face down to right side.  Place on top right side of quilting fabric centering.  With the remaining fabric on the surface; make a binding to finish of the quilt by top stitching accordingly.
